Overall Commitment
We respect and promote the health, safety, dignity and development of our employees and communities, protect cultural values, and build a transparent and accessible communication and grievance system. Social performance is as important as business performance.
Employees And The Workplace
Abide by labor laws and respect the right to association and equal employment, provide fair compensation and development opportunities for employees. Continuously reduce safety risks through a closed loop of risk identification, training, PPE management and accident investigation.
Management Af Contractors
Contractors are required to comply with the same safety and human rights standards as KMC own employees, and are subject to pre-qualification reviews and performance evaluations. In cases of serious violations, corrective actions, suspension, or termination measures will be taken.
Community Health And Safety
Take risk control and inform in advance during transportation, blasting and construction, and carry out linkage drills with local emergency and medical institutions when necessary. Coordinated control measures of road dust and noise will be implemented.
Community Involvement And Cultural Heritage
Ensure that community views are heard and responded to through announcements, discussions and recorded responses. Identify and protect cultural heritage, following FPIC principles and respecting the decision-making process of indigenous peoples.
Security And Human Rights
Security follows the principles of legal compliance, necessity and proportionality, and aligns with the "Voluntary Principle of Security and Human Rights" (VPSHR). Establish a chain of evidence and accountability for all security-related complaints and incidents.
Grievance And Remedy
The grievance channel supports anonymity and prohibits retaliation. All cases are registered, hierarchical and closed-loop. We disclose handling efficiency and typical improvements in our annual report.
What We Disclose
The key points of employee safety and training, summary of community communication records, efficiency of grievance acceptance and response, and overview of cultural heritage protection and shared value projects were made public. Detailed plans and records can be found in Policies and Reports.
