The first Saturday of December each year marks Arbor Day in Zimbabwe. The ESG Management Department of KMC organized the company''s first tree-planting event, involving employees from KMC, Ruilong, community councilors, schools, and local farmers. A total of 280 saplings were transplanted and donated during the event.

In 2024, KMC actively fulfilled its social responsibilities by implementing over ten social contribution projects in areas such as education, transportation, electricity, food security, water supply, community collaboration, and healthcare. Following provincial recommendations and national evaluations, KMC was ultimately awarded the National Responsible Mining and Social Impact Award in Zimbabwe.
